What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry

We collect your name, email address, website address and — where you choose to give them — your phone number, company name, budget range, goal and timescale. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry and to prepare for a conversation with you.

Lawful basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

When you request an AI visibility check

We collect your website address and email address in order to produce and send your report. If you consent, we may also send you occasional material about search visibility. You can unsubscribe from any of it.

When you browse the site

We use analytics to understand how the site is used. Non-essential analytics and advertising technologies are only loaded after you consent through the cookie banner. See our cookie policy.

Who we share it with

We use third-party providers to run this website and our business. Each acts as a processor on our instructions under a written agreement:

• Our website hosting provider
• Our customer relationship management system
• Our email delivery provider
• Our analytics providers

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
• Client records: for the duration of the engagement and for six years afterwards, to meet accounting and legal obligations.
• Marketing subscribers: until you unsubscribe, and for a short period afterwards to honour your suppression.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Have your data erased, where we have no overriding reason to keep it
• Restrict or object to how we process it
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing
• Receive your data in a portable format

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We update this notice whenever our data handling changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
